The Annual BBQ was started by PDG Dave Ditto in 1984 to give each of the campers a good hearty Rotary BBQ meal consisting of ribs, chicken, veggie burgers, corn, salad, beans, French bread and ice cream with strawberries at the conclusion of a week of camp food. Since 1984, camp food has improved tremendously but the tradition of gathering campers and Rotarians has continued.
